What I learned about the library

Throughout my experience here at North Central College, I have always had questions but really didn't know where the correct place to ask them would be. I later found out that the library would be that place for me. Using an entire class day to go visit the library was the best idea ever, it helped me learn how to utilize the website in order to help me find sources, learn new things, and to ultimately get a head start on any research paper with ease.
One interesting thing that Laura Cameron taught us throughout our time with her, is the use of key words and phrases. If you want your search results to be more accurate, the best way to do that is through the use of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). 2 ways to express SEO is through the use of key phrases, and more specific questions, with this, comes more concise and accurate answers to your questions. Through the use of SEO, I was able to find the sources I needed, and the answers I wanted. I was able to do this through both the Cardinal Library, and Google itself.
With all the ways class could've been held on that specific day, the library was the perfect place for it to have been held. With a paper being due soon, and questions fogging peoples' minds, the library helped with both of those, answering any questions we had, and helping us find sources through the use of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I would rate the library trip a 10/10 and would recommend any North Central student to check it out, whether they have simple questions, or if they just want to see the writing or speaking center. Either way, the library is the place for all of that.
