My expectations for CARD*101*8

             I am extremely thrilled to be a part of this particular CARD class! There are so many nice people and I can't wait to learn so many exciting things with this group. I absolutely love writing about sports and the modern world, so I am excited to see how this class can help shape me into a better writer grammatically, as well as through critical thinking, and knowledge-making. 

           My expectations for this class include becoming a better and more interesting writer by fixing up grammatical mistakes, and by also using more interesting words. I hope to obviously pass this class having learned so much, and I will plan to do this by studying to the best of my abilities, taking a ton of notes, as well as reviewing those notes, and also by being very attentive in classes. I look forward to learning so much and can't wait for the real classes to start! 

        This semester is going to fly by, so I plan to enjoy every moment of it and ask questions along the way! Like all things, including the good ones, they all come to an end, so it is about what you make of the moment before it is over, and I plan to have every moment maximized to it's full potential. No matter how nervous I may be, I won't let that get in the way of me trying to have a great time.

Pictured above is my favorite picture from my camera roll. This is gameplay from Super Mario Sunshine and the reason why it is so important to me is because it resembles a big part of my childhood. Growing up, this was one of my go-to games, and with that being said, it was always hold a special part in my heart. I want viewers to take away a sense of nostalgia from this, whether you too can relate to it, or even if you don't, you at least understand why it means so much. Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

FEELS about my Rational Argument

 There are countless amounts of problems in today's world that I would be more than happy to debate with someone. However, in the case of the Rational Argument, I could only come down to one choice, and I ultimately chose to argue about the risks of screen time usage. I specifically chose to debate about the screen time usage in the younger generation, and how it correlates to higher cognitive problems in the future, as well as obesity problems, and mental health issues as well. In the post-COVID era, almost everything has transitioned online, whether it's ordering food, shopping, or just chatting.
